North Carolina native Christopher Gilliam is Director of Choral Activities at Wake Forest University, director of the Winston-Salem Symphony Chorus, and Director of Music at Highland Presbyterian Church. Gilliam received the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Kansas in 2003, where he studied with Simon Carrington of the renowned King’s Singers. He has published choral compositions through Alliance Music Publications, Beckenhorst Press, Lorenz, and E.C. Schirmer, and sings regularly with Bach Akademie Charlotte and Oregon Bach Festival.
