Eric Powell

North Carolina native Eric Powell is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where he studied with Dr. Marilyn Taylor. After several years in New York City performing a wide range of music—from contemporary premieres and jazz and swing to church music and the occasional country gig—he recently returned to the Winston-Salem area. Known for his musical versatility and collaborative spirit, Eric is glad to be making music close to home again and is especially happy to join WSCA.
